Small World Vacations was facing a site that couldn’t keep up with a 30-year reputation

Small World Vacations has been planning Disney trips since 1996. That is not a typo. They were booking Walt Disney World vacations before most of their clients had a smartphone. Over three decades, they built a team of specialized agents, earned Diamond status from Disney, landed on Travel Weekly’s Power List, and became the go-to recommendation from MouseSavers, DisneyFoodBlog, and WDWPrepSchool. The reputation was airtight.

The website was a different story. For an agency running dozens of concurrent agents and handling quote requests across six Disney destinations, the cracks were showing. Four Eyes sealed those cracks and has been refining and perfecting this website for over 20 years, making it the top Disney lead engine outside of Disney itself.

I have worked with Four Eyes for over 20 years. They have been instrumental in the growth of my online travel business. Michael seems to read my mind and know what we need to do in order to stay current and competitive in our industry. His responsiveness to unexpected issues is beyond compare. He stays up-to-date with technology and keeps us head of the game with website design and functionality. I rely on him to maintain our site and advise me on what we need to do to stay relevant and user friendly. Plus, he is always fun to work with and a trusted collaborator. I don’t know what I would do without his advice and expertise.

Four Eyes rebuilt Small World Vacations’ WordPress site around one job: converting curious families into booked guests

Four Eyes redesigned and rebuilt smallworldvacations.com on WordPress, with the site’s primary job being lead capture across multiple Disney vacation categories. The architecture had to support six distinct quote-request flows (Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland, Adventures by Disney, Aulani, and Universal Orlando) without creating a confusing or fragmented experience for visitors who often don’t yet know exactly what they want.

Four Eyes built the site on WordPress with Gravity Forms handling all six destination-specific quote request flows, each one structured to capture the right information for that booking type without overwhelming a family who just wants to go to Disney World. Toolset and Crocoblock gave the team the custom post types and dynamic templating needed to manage a product catalog that spans resorts, cruise lines, guided tours, and Hawaiian spa packages without turning the CMS into chaos. Under the hood, NitroPack handles caching and performance optimization, keeping load times competitive despite the volume of imagery and embedded deal content the site runs. A bewildering number of custom plugins handle the specific operational quirks of a 30-year-old travel agency: waitlist management, restricted-rate quote forms, transfer-request flows, and partner-specific promotional integrations that no off-the-shelf solution could ever cover cleanly.

The “Spoonful of Magic” blog was built as a content engine, giving agents a place to publish destination-specific advice and promotional offers that pull in organic search traffic and warm up prospective guests before they ever hit a quote form. Yoast SEO drives the editorial optimization layer, and every post and offer page is marked up with structured Schema data so that deal announcements and destination guides have a fighting chance in search results against much larger travel publishers. The result is a site that captures demand. It generates it.

Overall, the rebuild gave Small World Vacations:

  • Six destination-specific quote request flows accessible from one unified homepage
  • A clean, mobile-friendly experience for families researching their first Disney trip
  • Full control over deals, offers, and destination-specific promotions without touching a developer
  • A blog platform that their agents can research, write, and publish to independently, feeding the SEO engine without adding to anyone’s workload
  • A site that matches the credibility of a Diamond-level Disney agency

Small World Vacations is one of the top sellers of Disney Travel worldwide, and our success is directly related to the creative and technological guidance we receive from FourEyes.com. We have worked with Michael… and our remarkable growth and global brand recognition is a result of our seamless collaborations. We rely on them to keep our business up-to-date with trends and innovations online and in print. One added bonus is their ability to read our minds and bring to life the marketing materials we were envisioning.

The results: more qualified leads, a site worth their reputation, and a platform built to scale

Small World Vacations now runs one of the most credentialed Disney travel operations in the country off a WordPress site that actually does the job. The quote forms are clean. The blog drives traffic. The credentials and accolades have a home that earns trust rather than undercutting it.

Small World Vacations has spent 30 years making Disney trips feel effortless for families. The site they run on now makes the first step, finding them and trusting them, just as easy.
