Marriage Rescue Retreats runs private, multi-day marriage intensives from Charlotte, one couple at a time, in person or by Zoom. Four Eyes had looked after the old site since 2021. In 2026 we rebuilt it: a custom WordPress theme and content model, a four-question fit finder, counselor profiles, plain pricing, and structured data an AI assistant can quote, with every existing URL kept. Private marriage retreats in Charlotte, booked by couples in crisis, from a site built on a page builder that had grown slow and hard for a non-technical team to run.
The work.
Custom WordPress theme and content model
A theme written for this site, with counselors, testimonials, locations, and FAQs as real content types the team edits in plain fields. The old builder is gone.
Fit finder, not a lead trap
Four questions, no email asked, nothing saved. It points a couple to the right retreat and the right counselor before they ever call.
Pricing and Zoom, stated plainly
Three retreat lengths with real prices, Zoom at the same price, what is included, and six months of follow-up, all on one page and marked up as offers.
Built for a phone at midnight
One small stylesheet, one tiny script, no jQuery, self-hosted fonts, a call, text, and schedule bar on phones, a quick-exit button, and crisis resources where they belong.
Nothing lost in the move
Every existing URL kept, 86 articles re-organised by topic, structured data for the business, counselors, services, and FAQs through our SEO plugin, and Google Ads assets updated at launch.
Ongoing care
The same arrangement since 2021: one person to ask, and the site looked after so the counselors can stay on the counseling.
